REMEMBER WHEN?

Remember when. I have an old mantel clock that was made in Germany when they made great items like that by their own hands and they were built to last generations. I have items that were made in Japan when they were made with quality in mind. I have an old pocket watch from Russia made 40-50 yrs ago and it still works. again quality workmanship from their own people hands The same thing with a watch made in Switzerland. What happened to the world of master craftsman's. Now everything is made from plastic and batteries. Now it all done by automatic machines and robots. Have we forgot how to build things with our own hands. People around the world wanted things made in America by Americans hands. These items I have collected over the years were made with the thought they would last for generations and we could pass them down to our children. Well that time has gone we have giving up to automation and what a shame. Every country had items made by theirr people own hands that were made with there love for making things by their own hands and that made them valuable to all the collectors around the world because we knew the labor and love that was put into it.
Now all the old master
craftsman are disappearing and what is replacing them are items of low quality that if it last for five years it will become an antique if it still works, That is really a sad thing to see disappearing (Master Craftsmanship from around the world ). Really Sad.
