Just think about this . What if we put a MORATORIUM on all foreign aid and oversea's spending for six months to one year and take those funds and apply them to our own infrastructure repairs. That would mean approximately 45-55 BILLION DOLLARS already set in the budget would be use to put millions of people back to work and get our economy moving again and also would mean more taxes going into our own government . I sure the world would survive for 6-12 months without our help and then we would be in better shape to help them more after we get our own country back on track.
Even if we took just portion of the above amount and applied to our inforstructure just think how many Americans we could put back to work and get men and women off unemployement benefits. We need thinking not stinkers in Washington who are there to help this country not drive it into the ground. The simple answer sometimes is the right answer. Just one old mans opinion. SAD
