I am an old man but I have always loved history. I know of a lot of Americans think that Britain is our closes allie but go back in history and see the truth. France came to our rescue when this nation was fighting for it's independence so we should remember for it was France that helped America become independent and a nation. This is just one old American who would like to thank the people of France for thier help when thirteen states were fighting to become the United States of America.
